The 1994 Acura NSX

The midship engine location of the lightweight, all-aluminum NSX helps to achieve outstanding acceleration, braking and cornering performance. The 3.0 liter, DOHC, 24-valve, VTEC-equipped, aluminum V-6 engine produces 270 horsepower. Standard features include all-aluminum, 4-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension, ventilated 4-wheel disc brakes, an Acura-designed 4-channel Anti-Lock Braking System(ABS), electronic traction control, leather-trimmed interior, and driver's and passenger's side air bag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) with automatic seat belt tensioners.

The interior of the NSX features leather-trimmed seats, steering wheel and shift knob. A driver's and passenger's side air bag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) with automatic seat belt tensioners, Automatic Climate Control System and an Acura/Bose Music System are standard equipment. Large analog instruments on the NSX provide information at a glance, and the controls are ergonomically designed for ease of operation.

The integrated, wraparound rear spoiler of the NSX helps to achieve exellent aerodynamic performance, with an overall drag coefficent of 0.32. The jet-fighter canopy-inspired greenhouse yields excellent vision to the rear, unusual for a mid-engine exotic automobile. The lightweight, all-aluminum NSX is powered by a 3.0 liter, DOHC, 24-valve, VTEC-equipped, all-aluminum V-6 engine that produces 270 horsepower. New, larger 16" front and 17" rear wheel and tires accentuate the NSX's exotic styling.
