The largest of its kind in Switzerland, this museum in the vast Palexpo complex houses more than 400 vehicles. Through the most important models that have marked the history of the world�s major car-makers, it offersa complete history of the automobile from its origins to the present day.

One of the museum�s objectives is to reveal the multiple effects of the car industry on the economic and social environment. To this end, a series of exhibitions and associated events are organized throughout the year : the best posters in the history of automobiles, scale models, film clips, a maintenance workshop, a "concept cars" area (prototypes, cars of the future, etc.), a "challenges" area (rally cars, competition models, Formula 1).
